Digidestined Agent 05

I do not own Digimon,  Tai, Sora ,Izzy and Davis or their Partner Digimon, Toei Animation does. I do not own Dawn Kamyia, Dan Motomyia, Johnathon Izumi, Margaret Kimura, Stacy Ishida or their Partner Digimon, CherrygirlUK19 does. I only claim ownership of Clare Bayliss and her Partner Digimon, And Lilly Bayliss and her partner.

Ambrose moved closer to his partner and eyed the normal Agumon carefully. The SnowAgumon sighed. Ambrose and Lilly froze as movement rustled the leaves in one of the trees behind them. Ambrose muttered something under his breath to Lilly.

“Right Ambrose…..”Lilly  said then railed off slightly.

“Why exactly do you have a name?” Gabumon asked of Ambrose.  

“Easier than them saying SnowGaomon…..Bit of a mouthful don’t you think?” Ambrose replied.

Gabumon nodded slightly, “It does get confusing with Stacy’s dad’s Gabumon and I.”

“But you and SnowAgumon Digivovle  together,” Stacy remarked.

Gabumon and SnowAgumon nodded. Then a large BlackSaberLeomon leapt out of the forest. Lilly’s, Dawn’s and Stacy’s hands automatically went to their Digivices.

“Digital Ring Release!” Both Stacy and Dawn Called out. Dawn Placed the ring on her Crest Watch and tossed it to her partner while Stacy tossed the  Joined ring to SnowAgumon and Gabumon.

“Bio-Merge Activate!” Lilly called out.

“AGUMON WARP DIGIVOVLE TO…………BURNINGREYMON!!!!!!”

“SNOWAGUMON, GABUMON DNA DIGIVOVLE TO………ICELEOMON!!!!!”

“SNOWGAOMON BIO-MERGE TO…….SNOWANUBISMON!!!”

“PYRO BARARGE!!!”

“HOWLING CRUSHER!!!”
“Did you really think that was a good idea?” IceLeomon remarked as BurningGreymon staggered backwards.

Lilly/Ambrose folded their wings to assess the situation. They stepped between the Ancient Dragon Digimon and the Giant Lion Digimon. Playing the part of peacemaker they tried to stop any further fighting. The Biomerged Mega had more than enough power to restrain the Dragon Ultimate and the Lion Mega.

“How about we NOT get into a fight like Luna and Gil told us to?” SnowAnubismon spoke, the voice a low rumble.

IceLeomon glanced over and stepped back. BuringGreymon regarded the BlackSaberLeomon carefully. The black and blue Lion Digimon, with grey eyes, with his with fangs and claws, glowered at IceLeomon and SnowAnubismon. Then it turned tail and ran, it knew better than to mess with an Anubismon.

“That Digimon was a wimp,” Dawn muttered.

There was a flash of light and Lilly was standing to Anubismon. She gave Dawn a look. Lilly then looked back at her partner.

“Well Ambrose is now a Demon-Man Mega Level Digimon, so that might have something to do with it,” Lilly said.

“Don’t you think that my Ultimate form would have been better?” Ambrose questioned as he looked down at his partner.

“Ultimate is strong but not strong enough to restrain a Mega Level Lion Digimon and an Ancient Dragon Ultimate Level Digimon,” Lilly responded as she looked up at him.

“You really need to have more faith in your digimon,” Dawn remarked.
“I have plenty of Faith in Ambrose, But it’s better to keep balanced,” Lilly returned quietly.

“Well it’s better than rushing headlong into battle,” Stacy added.

“Hey! At least it gets things done,” Dawn grumbled slightly.
“It’s sloppy and ineffective. It’s a very  good way to get your partner to Dark Digivolve,” Lilly was shaking as she spoke, “It’s also an effective way to lose  your partner for a short time, and that’s something you really don’t want to do.”

“Lilly! It’s okay,” Ambrose spoke softly as he enveloped his partner, “Everything will be alright.”

The twelve year old buried her face in her partner’s white fur. His fur was slowly getting wet, but he didn’t mind. He knew what Lilly had been talking about, it had nearly destroyed her mind set and him. Granted he was her partner but he vowed that he would protect her from any other type of harm.

Stacy raised an eyebrow while Dawn looked confused. Neither of them knew about Dark Digivolution nor what harm it can cause. They knew what the X-Antibody does to a Digimon but not Dark Digivolution.

That Afternoon, Kamyia Residence……

“What’s Dark Digivolution?” Dawn asked her father as he got chased out of the kitchen by Sora.

Both Taichi and Sora froze. They were instantly taken back to when Tai’s Agumon had Dark Digivovled to SkullGreymon. Tai was also reminded when the Digimon Emperor had taken control of Agumon and had him Digivovle into a Dark version of Metal Greymon.

“Why are you asking about that Kiddo?” Tai asked with a slight glance at Sora and his partner.

“Because a girl I met in the Digital World said that was an easy way to lose a partner,” Dawn replied.

“What did this girl look like?” Sora inquired.

“Reddish hair, brown eyes, She kinda looked tired though,” Dawn answered.

“And her partner was?” Biyomon asked.

“A SnowGaomon,” Dawn’s Agumon answered quickly.

Tai and Sora looked at each other and then said, “Lilly Bayliss.”
“You know her?” Dawn asked.

“Well she would be Azulongmon’s new agent right?” Tai’s Agumon inquired.

“I think Clare said once Lilly’s more balanced,” Tai replied, “There’s been a few issues with Lilly and Ambrose in the past.”

“Like what?” Dawn asked.

“It’s best to get ALL  we know about the Dark Digivolution, including what happened when you were a kid,” Tai’s Agumon spoke up.

Tai ran a hand through his hair and sighed,  “Agumon has Dark Digivovled before. The first time was part of my own Stupid Desire to get Agumon to the Ultimate Level, so knowing he would digivovle if I was in danger, I purposely did that, He Digivovled all right but not into his normal Ultimate. He had Dark Digivolved into SkullGreymon. He took out Birdramon, Garurumon, and Kabterimon, before reverting back to Koromon. Then when the Digimon Emperor had taken over he made Agumon Dark Digivovle into a Virus version of MetalGreymon.”

“Whoa,” Dawn muttered.

“Ambrose’s Dark Digvolution wasn’t really Lilly’s fault. I’m not clear on what happened four years ago but Ambrose Dark Digivovled into ShadowSkullBaluchimon, and nearly destroyed everything in his wake. It took BlackZeedGarurumon and SnowMedevialDukemon to stop him. They had to destroy him. His Digi-egg reappeared at their residence rather than at Primary Villiage,” Sora said, explaining a bit more.

“But you two said Digimon never really die,” Dawn frowned slightly.

“Their data generally gets reconfigured, but sometimes it doesn’t,” Biyomon said.

“She did something called Bio-Merge,” Dawn blurted out.

“Been a long time since she had done that,” Tai’s Agumon remarked.

“You know about that sort of thing?!” Dawn yelped.

“Well yes, Lilly’s parents can bio-merge with their partners as well. Although Clare pulls it off a tad more effortlessly than her husband,” Sora answered.

“His crest is Protect and hers is Balance, so she can  be on a middle ground,” Tai pointed out, “Also she’s Azulongmon’s Agent while he’s Zaquimon’s Agent. Hope and Light versus Courage and Friendship.”

“What’s Zaquimon?” both Dawn and her partner asked.

“He’s one of the Sovereigns of the Digital World. You’ll meet him later,” Tai replied then muttered under his breath, “Hopefully Never.”


Okay at well over a thousand words I am going to end this chapter. Hopefully the next few chapters will be as long as this. And a bit of a twist is coming up. Stay tuned for the Chapter of Digidestined Agent.
